Shakespeare was meant to be seen not read. My AP Lit. class proved acting is more powerful than reading by performing the dumb show in Hamlet....at least I think that's what they did. You know, now that I look at this video I'm not sure what they accomplished. At least, it's interesting viewing.

By the way in one of my classes we just read Their Eyes Were Watching God and I'm about to sit down and write a paper on it. I'm so thankful my class went over this book instead of My Antonia back in the day!!!!!
