Let' s play, Guess What You're Thinking. I'll provide the title for my next entry, you supply the subtitle that hints at the entry's focus. The first one should be easy.

Scorntron: (now you fill in the subtitle) _____________________________

I'll craft the column this evening and post it tomorrow.

Ahhhh, so AFLU has decided to actually make his blog presence known. Hmmmm, interesting. I guess a comment is writing and since we all have missed your blog updates, I guess some writing is better than no writing. Oh, but you've been busy these past three weeks since school has been out. We all understand. Yes, young Andrew, we all understand. Allow me to offer some analysis concerning your subtitle. I like the clarity. Yes, we hand those devilish bubble forms out and follow it up with those famous words you so eloquently crafted. "Start on the Blue Side."
Why do we always start with that side? I proffer this reasoning for your approval. You see, deep down we know the horror of demanding that our students remember trivial facts of the recently covered content. We hope the youngsters won't see through this assessment facade, but deep down we know the truth: assessments that are heavy with factual recall are foolish. This makes us sad...blue if you will. Thus our subconscious is trying to acknowledge and purge this "learning" travesty with the symbolic use of the "Blue Side".
Your thoughts?
